Our own brand · headless WooCommerce + ads
Our own brand, on a shop that flies
SYNCMESH is a sim racing glove brand we built from scratch. We turned its WooCommerce shop into a fast, sale-ready store without moving to a pricey platform, and we run its ads ourselves.
The situation
SYNCMESH is ours. We built it from nothing: a Danish brand making gloves for sim racers, sold across the EU, the UK, the US and Canada. The shop started where most small shops start, on WordPress and WooCommerce, and it hit the same wall. A heavy theme, a pile of plugins, slow pages on a phone, and every change a small gamble. The usual advice is to move to one of the big shop platforms and pay a hefty monthly bill for the privilege.
What we did
We kept WooCommerce, but only as the back office. Products, stock, orders and payments stay right where the team already runs them. Then we took the old shop front off and built a new one from scratch on a modern, fast setup. Pages are built ahead of time, and only the parts that move, like the cart, the photo gallery and the add-to-cart button, load extra code. On top of that we built the things that actually sell gloves.
Where it landed
A shop that's quick on any phone, with no platform taking a monthly cut for the privilege of selling. Google reads the price, stock, reviews and returns on every product, and AI tools like ChatGPT get a plain-text guide to the whole catalogue. We run the ads too, so we see what all of this does for sales first-hand, with our own money on the line.

What's built in
- WooCommerce kept as the back office, so nothing to move or relearn
- A new shop front, built from scratch, fast on any phone
- A size calculator and a glove guide with a quiz, so fewer wrong sizes
- Two-pack offers on product pages, and an add-to-cart button that stays in view on mobile
- Product details Google understands: price, stock, reviews and returns
- A plain-text guide to the whole shop, written for ChatGPT and other AI tools
- Meta and Google tracking that respects cookie consent and keeps track of where each order came from
- Separate flows for custom team gloves and for shops that want to stock the brand
We run the ads too
Our own money, our own campaigns.
Building a brand from scratch also means building an audience from scratch. We plan, make and run the SYNCMESH campaigns on Meta and Google ourselves: the creative, the audiences, the tracking and the daily calls on where the budget goes. It's the same work we do for clients, and we try it on our own money first.
